THE Emerging Economies University Ranking 2020: IISc Bengaluru and a host of IITs have featured in the list of top 100 universities in the recently announced Times Higher Education (THE) Emerging Economies University Ranking 2020. Indian Universities put up a stellar performance in the recently announced THE Emerging Economies University Ranking with IISc Bengaluru securing 16th spot in the ranking list. In total 11 Indian Universities have made it to the list of top 100 Universities from Emerging Economies; on the other hand, the only other country which has more universities on the list is China with total 30 universities in the list of top 100 Universities.

As per the details available on the website of the Times Higher Education (THE), a total of 56 Indian Universities have been featured as part of the ranking, which was released in London on 18th February 2020. THE considered a total of 533 Universities from 47 Emerging Economies to compile the Ranking List by considering a variety of factors.
