The Assam board 2018 intermediate or class 12th examination that is conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council will begin today. The board has already released the admit card for the examination. All the students who will be appearing for the Assam Board 2018 exam are requested to download their admit cards. The admit cards can also be collected from the respective schools.
The Assam Higher Secondary Board Exams conducted by AHSEC will start from February 23, 2018, and to continue for a full month with the last paper being held on March 23, 2018. Looking at the timeline of information bombarded by AHSEC, academic experts have suggested that the results will be declared in the month of May/June.
Last year, more than 2 lakh students appeared for the class 12th Assam board 2018 examination. The Assam Board 2018 Higher Secondary Examination will start tomorrow. The Assam Board 2018 matric examination started on February 16th and will conclude on March 10th 2018.
It has been notified that the Assam Board Council will set the Question Papers (Theory Part) of all the subjects except those under Vocational Stream for the HS First Year Examination, 2018 and will send the same to the principals of the examination conducting institutions for safe custody. The circular also claimed that ‘It has been observed that some Recognized/Permitted institutions handed over the question papers to the non-permitted Institution(s) for conducting the HS 1st Year Examination at their institutions which is a clear violation of Code of Conduct of the HS First Year Examination. The Council under no circumstances will allow the Non-Permitted Institutions to hold the 1st year examination and therefore, the Recognized/Permitted Institutions are requested to conduct the HS First Year Examination for the students of a Non-Permitted institution(s) along with their own students.’
