CBSE 12th Result 2019 Declared: Finally, the much awaited, CBSE 12th Result 2019 has been declared by the Board. The Board declared the result today i.e. 2nd May, in the afternoon at 1 PM online on its official website cbseresults.nic.in. Out of 13 lakh registered students, around 83.40% students have cleared the exam, registering stellar performance. With the declaration of result already done, the CBSE will commence the process for verification of marks, re-evaluation of answer sheets soon. The applications for verification of marks will start from May 4 and candidates will have to apply online before 5 pm on May 8, 2019. One will have to pay Rs. 500 per subject as a fee for verification.
Students not satisfied with their CBSE Class 12 result 2019 can apply for the following processes in the online mode only.
For all the three steps, candidates have to make separate application and pay the processing charges separately. Only one application for each step per candidate will be accepted in online process. Candidate must decide in advance whether he/she has to apply for one subject or multiple subjects. CBSE will not be responsible for any loss or damage or any inconvenience caused to the candidate, consequent to the revision of mark(s) or delay in communication, for reasons beyond control. In cases where there is change in marks (increase or decrease), candidates will be required to surrender the marksheet in their possession after which, they will be issued a new Marksheet.
The fee for verification is Rs. 500/- per subject. The result of verification of marks will be uploaded on CBSE’s website in candidate’s login account. In case of change in marks, a letter will also be sent to the applicant by Speed Post by concerned Regional Office of CBSE. If there is no change of marks, CBSE will not send any letter but will upload the information on the official website.
Only those candidates who will apply for verification of Marks Online will be eligible to apply for obtaining photocopy of answer book(s) in that/those subject(s). The fee for the same is Rs. 700/- per subject. Photocopy of the evaluated answer book will be provided in the candidate’s login account after blocking all information relating to the identity of the Examiner/ Evaluator/ any other official associated with the examination process etc.
If the candidate desires to challenge the marks awarded to any question, then he/she will have to apply online, as per the schedule for re-evaluation of marks. Only those candidates who have applied for obtaining photocopy of the evaluated answer book will be eligible to apply for re-evaluation or challenge the marks awarded to any question(s). Request for re-evaluation/challenges is acceptable only for theory portion at Rs.100/- per question as processing charges. The applicant will have to refer to the marking scheme in the subject concerned which is available on the website along with the question paper. Candidates can submit application for re-evaluation in the required question(s) with reasoning. The status of revaluation will be uploaded on the website followed by a formal letter by speed post and decrease even by one mark will be considered. Once completed, any appeal or review against the re-evaluation will not be entertained.
The decision of the Competent Authority of the Board on the marks awarded for any of the three cases will be final and binding on the candidates.
