CBSE Class 12 Result 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education surprised everyone by declaring the Class 12 board examination result. CBSE declared the results within a record 28 days after the conclusion of the board examination. The results were announced shortly after the board announced the decision to release the results on May 2, 2019. The results were released on the official website after a press conference which was conducted at 1.00 PM.

The reason for the release of the CBSE results this early can be linked through the past trends that the central board has followed over the years. For close to 30 years the practice of declaring the class 10 and 12 examination results by last week of May for the First week of June has been followed by the board. The board has maintained the minimum gap of 50 days between the last examination and the declaration of the result.

The reason for the release of the Class 12 board examination results this early can be seen by the various measures the board ensured to take.

Firstly, this year the CBSE started the examinations early. The examination for the vocational subject began from February 15, which helped the board to end the examinations by April 4. Until earlier, however, the examinations extended until April 15 or 18.

Secondly, the CBSE took up timely evaluations. The board was extremely strict with the evaluation process this year and ensured that the teachers assigned for the evaluation were excused by the respective schools. There were reports which surfaced earlier about the board issuing notices to more than 50 schools which failed to follow the board orders.

The board also increased the number of centres for checking the exam sheets and also increased the number of evaluators which helped the board to conclude the evaluation work in record time. Most of the evaluation was completed by the teachers within 10 days after the completion of the examination. There is also news that the board initiated the uploading and computation process of the results as soon as the evaluation process was completed.

Whatever the measures may be, the CBSE class 12 result declarations on May 2, 2019, is a noteworthy event. And what makes this event unique is the number of students who appeared for the examination. Close to 12.05 lakh students from more than 12 thousand schools appeared for the CBSE Class 12 board examination worldwide.
