CBSE Re-checking and Revaluation: The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to open the portal for the revaluation and rechecking process soon. The CBSE has recently declared the Class 12 Examinations results following which the class 10 results were declared. Candidates who are not satisfied with the marks secured in Class 10 and 12 examinations can apply for the revaluation and rechecking process through the applications available on the official website of the board.
The revaluation and rechecking process will be conducted online. CBSE is expected to release the complete schedule for the revaluation and rechecking process for the class 10 students on the official website soon. Candidates are advised to visit the official website - cbse.nic.in for further updates.
Students are first required to apply for the re-totalling following which they can request for a photocopy and then apply for the evaluations of specific questions. The fee for each step will be charged separately from the students.
It however must be noted that the students can apply for the rechecking and revaluation for only those subjects for which they have appeared for the examinations since the board had to cancel a few papers owing to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The steps to apply for the CBSE Class 10 revaluation and re totaling will be provided by the board soon. The board has however released the procedure for applying for the re-totaling, revaluations and photocopy of answer sheets for the class 12 students. Candidates can visit the official website or click on the direct link provided below to check the complete notification.
According to the schedule provided, the applications for the verification of marks for the class 12 will be available on the official website from July 17 to 21, 2020, while the re-totaling and revaluation for the class 12 students will be available from August 6, 2020, and the applications for obtaining a photocopy of the answer sheet will be available from August 1, 2020.
In order to apply for the Retotalling, Revaluation and obtaining the photocopy of the answer sheets candidates are first required to apply for the re-totaling process following which there are to submit the applications for the photocopy of the answer sheets where they can check the answers and tally them with the marking scheme provided by the CBSE. In case the students feel like they have been marked incorrectly they can apply for the revolutions of the specific questions.
