CHSE Odisha 12th Exam 2020 Pending Papers Cancelled: As per the latest update, CHSE Odisha has decided to cancel the pending papers for Odisha 12th Exam 2020 for Plus Two Students. Along with this, an alternative assessment scheme for cancelled paper has also been proposed to ensure that CHSE Odisha Plus Two Results 2020 are announced soon. According to the official announcement, the CHSE Odisha has primarily followed the CBSE formula for assessment of students for whom the pending papers have been cancelled. Moreover, the council has also decided that it might give an option to students to opt for re-exams at a later date, if they were not satisfied with the marks awarded to them as per the new assessment scheme for the pending examinations.
According to a report filed by NDTV, an official from CHSE Odisha has confirmed that along with cancellation of the pending papers, the council has announced a new assessment scheme which will be used to assess students for whom the pending papers of CHSE Odisha Plus Two Exams 2020 have been cancelled. The assessment scheme is quite similar to what has been announced by the CBSE Board following the SC judgement on the matter. The assessment scheme takes into account best of three subject marks for students who have appeared for 4 theory papers prior to the announcement of lockdown. On similar lines, for students who have appeared for three theory papers, their marks in best two subjects will be considered for the remaining papers.
With the pending exams cancelled already for CHSE Odisha, students can expect the Odisha Plus Two Results 2020 to be declared by end of July. According to media reports, the evaluation work for CHSE Odisha 12th Exam 2020 is still underway for the exams that were held before the lockdown was announced. In many districts, Odisha 12th Results 2020 have been delayed due to the lockdown announced to curb the spread of Coronavirus pandemic.
