CISCE Board Exam 2020 Evaluation Process

CISCE Board Exam 2020 Evaluation Process: Owing to the recent increase in the number of COVID-19 cases in the country, CISCE has adfopted a decentralized evaluation process for ICSE 10th Board Exam and ISC 12th Board Exam 2020. This allows the teachers working under the Council to continue evaluation work under Work from Home mode. The official notification issued by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, CISCE says that the board will allow teachers involved in correction of ICSE Board Exam 2020 answer sheets from home. The Board has adopted decentralized evaluation process in order to keep the examiners safe from the threat of COVID-19.

As per the prevalent norms, CISCE required the teachers involved in ICSE Board Exam Evaluation process to be present in-person at the evaluation centre for the correction of answer scripts. However, now with board’s move to decentralize the process, teachers will be able to continue the evaluation work form the safety of their homes.

Evaluation to be Done Under Supervisors

Although the board has adopted decentralized evaluation process and allowed Work From Home to teachers involved in the process; the board has notified that the evaluation work will continue under the mentorship of a supervisors. The supervisor will be incharge of keeping the evaluation work on track and ensuring that teachers are able to complete the evaluation work of necessary number of answer sheets in a day. All necessary instructions would be provided to the evaluators for proper checking of the answer scripts. In case the evaluator misses the meeting the copies would be reassigned to other examiners and the record of the answer sheet will be provided to the chief examiner.

Final Tally of Marks to be Uploaded in LICR Tabs

Once the evaluation work is done for the ICSE 10th and ISC 12th Board Exam 2020; teachers will have to upload the final tally of marks on LICR Tabs at evaluation centres. The uploading of marks on the result processing software will have to be done within the prescribed timeframe. After the completion of the evaluation process, teachers will be required to bring back all the answer scripts evaluated by them, back to the evaluation centres for final processing.

ICSE Results 2020 likely to be delayed

Following the MHRD order for cancellation of all examinations, the CISCE Board has also cancelled examinations for both 10th and 12th class students until 31st March 2020. With the postponement of the examinations, it is highly likely that the ICSE 10th Result 2020 and ISC 12th Result 2020 will also be delayed this year from its usual time.
