CISCE Board Allows Change in Exam Centres: Following in the footsteps of CBSE and several other State Boards, CISCE has now allowed change of exam centre for ICSE and ISC Exams. Students can now appear for the pending ICSE 10th Board Exam 2020 and ISC 12th Board Exam 2020 at a near-by registered school where they are currently located. The decision comes in the wake of requests from students and parents who have moved to their hometowns or moved between cities and are stuck there due to the Coronavirus pandemic. Such students will now be allowed to opt for change in exam centre and appear for the exam of the pending subjects at  registered CISCE School nearby their current location.

Board to Accept Exam Centre Change Requests from 7th June

To confirm the news about change in exam centres being allowed, CISCE Board released a formal notification on its website cisce.org. The notification says that the board will start accepting requests for change in exam centres from 7th June 2020 onwards. In order to request change in exam centre, students will have to get in touch with their respective schools and request for change in exam centre via the administration. Following this, the schools will submit all such requests received by them for the option of change in exam centre can apply through the CAREERS Portal under the Examination section of the CISCE website. Students and parents must note that no additional fees, charges or payment is to be made to request change in exam centre. This facility will be offered to the students completely free of cost.

Option to Re-take Exam at a Later Date

Along with change in exam centre, the board has also given the students to appear for the ICSE Exam 2020 and ISC Exam 2020 at a later date, in case they or their family is deeply impacted by the COVID-19 and are not in a position to appear for the exam. For such candidates, board will organize the exam again along with compartmental exam, wherein they will be able to appear for the test as regular candidates. Furthermore, the board also declared that the detailed guidelines and precautions notice for the pending CISCE Board Exam 2020 will be announced by the board soon.
