As per media reports, the chief secretary of Arunachal Pradesh has announced that the state government has decided to extend the state-wide lockdown until 30th April 2020. State Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar informed media persons that during the lockdown period only state-run buses will be allowed to ply on the roads. The state government will also construction to start in the state but individual contractors will be required to seek permission for the same from the state government.

As per the details shared by the health ministry officials, in total 2,06,212 Covid-19 tests have been conducted so far in India. The ministry also addressed concerns about shortage of COVID-19 test kits in India, saying that currently the government has enough test kits to conduct tests for next six weeks. ICMR officials also noted that more test kits for COVID-19 are expected to arrive from China on 15th April 2020.

On Monday i.e. 13th April 2020 – one day ahead of the 21-day lockdown ends, several ministers and senior officers resumed work from office. The move comes after PM Modi asked all central ministers to resume work from offices to scale up operations to restore normalcy. As per reports, Sports Minister Kiren Rijiju on Monday visited the Sports Authority of India's headquarter and senior officials of the ministry also reported to work from today. On similar lines, on second last day of the lockdown, the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar has also gone back to his office. While work has resumed for office, only essential staff members are currently going to office and also strictly following social distancing measures.

13 Apr 01:37 PM1,102 COVID-19 positive patients in Delhi, 746 are from Markaz area: Satyendar Jain
Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain said that as on Monday, the total number of COVID-19 cases in India stood at 1,102. Of this total number, Jain said that 746 cases are from Markaz area while the rest 408 are from others. He also added that, currently 50 COVID-19 patients are in ICU and 6 were on Ventilator support. He said that the state government has identified 43 containment zones across the national capital and sealed them completely to further check spread of the disease.

As per latest reports, over 39 doctors and medical healthcare workers have been asked to go on self-quarantine after they came in contact with two COVID-19 positive patients. These health workers came in direct contact with two patients who were admitted to Max Hospital in Delhi's Saket area for heart-related procedures. Later, they tested positive for Covid-19.

Delhi Government has increased in the number of COVID-19 hotspots in the national capital to 43 on Sunday. Bengali Market-Babar Road area and adjoining areas of Todarmal Road in South Central Delhi has been declared as hotspot with complete restrictions and lockdown on entry and exit of people.
