DHSE Kerala 10th and 12th Exam 2021: As per the latest media reports, the Kerala Education Department has ruled out cancellation or postponement of the on-going SSLC and Plus Two Exams in the state. The clarification came following CBSE Board’s decision to cancel Class 10 Exams and Postpone Class 12 Exams amid the rapidly rising COVID-19 numbers in the country. As per the date sheet released earlier, Kerala State Board began SSLC, DHSE+2 Board exams from 8th April 2021. The Kerala DHSE board exams are being conducted in offline mode across various centres in the state.
As per the details shared by the DHSE Kerala, the Plus Two and SSLC Exams of the State Board are to be held with strict compliance to COVID-19 guidelines and SOPs. Standard precautions such as wearing of face masks by students and teachers while they are at the exam hall have been made mandatory for all. Moreover, following of good hand and respiratory hygiene is also being practiced. In addition to this, regular deep sanitization of the exam hall is also to be done by the exam authorities as part of the SOPs. As part of the guidelines released by the state government, all students with COVID-19 symptoms and those in quarantine will be seated in a separate room for the exams.
Yesterday i.e. on 14th April 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) took a major decision addressing the concerns of lakhs of students, teachers and academics as well as politicians. The demand was being made citing health and safety of the students amid the much aggressive 2nd Wave of the Coronavirus pandemic in the country. In response to this, CBSE decided to cancel Class 10 Board Exams and postpone Class 12 Exams until June 2021. Following the suit, several state governments including Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh and Rajasthan have also decided to postpone exams to a later date.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
