As per the details shared in the press release for HBSE 10th Result 2020, private schools have outperformed the government ones in the Results announced today. The overall pass percentage for government schools stands at 59.74% as compared to the result of private schools which is 69.51%.

During the press meet, Haryana Board Chairman Dr Jagbir Singh informed the media persons that due to COVID-19 outbreak in March, Secondary Class Exams could be held only for 4 subjects. The remaining papers were cancelled, including the all-important paper for Science Subject. The Board has followed the assessment policy announced by CBSE Board to calculate marks awarded to the students for cancelled papers.
As per the details shared by the BSEH today in the press meet, girls have outshined boys in the Haryana Board 10th Result 2020 by a significant margin of 9.59%. According to the official numbers shared by the HBSE, the overall pass percentage for Girl students was reported at 69.86% as compared to 60.27% success ratio among the Boys.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 pandemic and the following lockdown announced to control its spread, the HBSE 10th Exam 2020 were interrupted mid-day with important exam for Science subject not being held.
