Central Board of Secondary Education released the Class 12th Result Board yesterday i.e. on 2nd May 2019 around 1 PM. Among the list of the toppers was Lavanya Balakrishnan hailing from Gurugram. Lavanya had a hearing disability from childhood but that did not stop her from realizing her dreams. She has topped the CBSE Class 12th Results 2019 in the CSSN or Children with Special Needs Category and she has done so with flying colours. She scored a whopping 489 marks out of 500 and secured 97.8% aggregate. Hard work and belief helped her achieve this success in the exams.
Lavanya is a student at the Heritage Xperiential Learning School. She had chosen to appear for English, Sociology, Political Science, Painting and Home Science subjects for the CBSE Class 12th Board Examinations 2019. He hopes to make a successful career in the field of Graphics and Animation in the future.
With a hearing disability since her childhood, she said that she was not expecting it. She also said, " I was astonished after hearing about my result. This has really boosted my confidence." She shared her experience and her preparation strategy stating that she studied for around 6 hours a day. She also credited her parents and her sister for always supporting her. Her mother who teaches in the same school took care of Lavanya's education.
In an interview with IANS Lavanya said, "They have motivated us throughout our educational journey. My teachers also played a crucial role in my preparation for the examination and were always with me step by step to achieve the goal. The teachers have given their valuable times not only during school hours but also on weekends. I am thankful to all of them who supported me."REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
