ICSE 10th Exam 2021 Cancelled Completely: As per the latest update, the CISCE Board has decided to cancel the ICSE 10th Exam 2021 completely for all the students in the wake of rapidly deteriorating COVID-19 situation. In line with this, the optional exam choice that was granted to Class 10 students of ICSE Board has now been withdrawn. Earlier, as per the circular issued on 16th April, the CISCE Board has given an option to Class 10 students to either opt for promotion based on assessment module or appear for exams later on when situation improves. However, that optional exam choice now has been withdrawn and all students would be promoted as per the Assessment Criterion decided by the Board. ICSE 10th Result 2021 will be based on ‘fair and unbiased’ criterion decided by CISCE Board.
As per the reports, the Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE) has decided to cancel the upcoming ICSE Class 10 Exams 2021, including the optional exams, in the light of the concerns raised by students and parents. The rapidly worsening situation of COVID-19 throughout the country, especially in high-case load states such as Maharashtra and Delhi has also contributed to the rethinking by CISCE about holding of the ICSE Board Exam 2021.
With the Class 10 Exams Cancelled, the ICSE Schools have been directed to commence the admission formalities to Class XI i.e. 11th Class for these students. Schools have also been directed by the board to prepare a schedule for starting of online classes for the Class 11 Students at the earliest.
While the ICSE 10th Exam 2021 has been cancelled completely, the Board has retained its decision to postpone the ISC 12th Exam 2021 for the Class 12 students of the board. As notified earlier, the Board will hold a review meeting in June to discuss the feasibility of holding the ISC Class 12 Exam 2021 and also decide on the dates for the same. Until then, students of Class 12 from CISCE Board will have to wait for further updates.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
