ICSE / ISC Results Live Update @ 2:05 PM: 14 Papers Cancelled due to COVDI-19

As reported earlier, the CISCE Board Exams 2020 for ICSE and ISC students were deeply impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak and the following lockdown announced by the government. Following a prolonged postponement of exams, for nearly three months, the CISCE Board decided to cancel the remaining 14 papers that were left to be held. Of the total 14 papers cancelled for 2020 exam, 8 papers were for ISC Exams i.e. Class 12 students whereas 6 papers were for ICSE or Class 10 students.

Another interesting aspect from which the upcoming ICSE Results 2020 will be looked at is the gender-wise performance of boys and girl students. Typically, girls have outshined boys in the CISCE Results 2020. However, the margin of victory has been very slender. Last year for ICSE 10th Result, girls outperformed boys by securing 99.05% success ratio as compared to Boy’s 98.12%. As per media reports, the board has made all the necessary arrangements for the declaration of the CISCE Results 2020 for Class 10 and Class 12 students. Following the cancellation of the exams, CISCE Board came-up with an alternative assessment scheme on the basis of which students would be marked for the papers which were cancelled. ISC 12th Result Live Update @ 12 PM: ICSE Board Exams Affected due to COVID-19

Like majority of the board exams across the country, even CISCE Board Exams i.e. ICSE 10th and ISC 12th Class exams were deeply impacted due to the outbreak of COVID-19 in March 2020. Following the announcement of the nationwide lockdown, the board postponed the exams until July 2020.
