Taking into account the prevailing situation with regards to the pandemic, the state government has directed JAC to ensure strict adherence with COVID-19 precautionary guidelines andcomplete compliance with the SOPs notified by the health department. Although detailed guidelines with regards to conduct of the board exams are yet to be notified, JAC officials hinted at a significant rise in the number of exam centres for the upcoming board exams. This will also be coupled with spaced seating arrangements to ensure social distancing and therefore seating per exam hall would be reduced by nearly 50%.
With the pandemic affecting the regular studies of the students, JAC had earlier announced reduction in the syllabus for the board exams. In line with this, as further relief for the students, the Council has also hinted at change in the examination patter as well. As per the revised exam pattern, the total number of objective type questions in JAC Matric and Inter Board Exam 2021 would be increased significantly. As per reports, around 30 to 40 percent of objective types of questions would be included in the paper depending upon the subjects.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
