Jharkhand JAC 10th and 12th Exam 2021 Postponed: As per the latest update, the Jharkhand Academic Council i.e. JAC has decided to postpone the upcoming JAC Matric Exam 2021 for Class 10 Students and Jharkhand Intermediate Exam 2021 for Class 12 students in the light of the COVID-19 situation. As per the dates announced earlier, the JAC Class 10 and 12 Exam 2021, were scheduled to be held from 4th May to 21st May 2021. The announcement comes within a day of the Board announcing postponement of the on-going practical exams 2021 as part of JAC Board Exam 2021. As per tentative estimates, a total of 7.63 lakh students will be appearing for the Board exam of Class 10 and 12 this year in Jharkhand.
JAC has released an official circular confirming the postponement of the Jharkhand 10th and 1`2th Exam 2021 for the schools. The notice reads “In view of current COVID 19 situation across the state the Board Examination of Matric and Inter is postponed with immediate effect.” Reports have confirmed that following the postponement, the department would announce revised exam dates for JAC 10th and 12th Exam 2021 in June. To allay any rumours of speculation about cancellation, JAC President, Maheep Kumar Singh has clarified that Board examinations are not Cancelled as of now.
With Jharkhand Board Exam 2021 being deferred to a later date, the State Board has announced that new dates for the Matric and Inter Exams will be announced only in June. According to the details available right now, Council will hold a review meeting on 1st June 2021 to assess the prevailing situation on the basis of which further course of action about the upcoming exams would be decided. The board has also said that students would be given an advance notice of 15 days before the state of the exams, to give adequate time for preparation.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
