The Central Board of Secondary Education declared the results for the Class 12th examination around 1 PM on Thursday. Around 93,115 students appeared for the CBSE Class 12th Board Examination from Jharkhand and Bihar. Of these, a total of 65, 147 students passed the board examinations. Also the students from Jharkhand Outperformed in this year's CBSE Class 12th examinations. A total of 83.75% of students from Jharkhand passed the CBSE Class 12th Board Examination whereas a mere 61.58% of students from Bihar managed to passed the board exams.
Also in the overall results, girls heavily outshined the boys with 76.08% girls clearing the CBSE Board Class 12th Examination whereas a mere 61.57% boys cleared the examination. A total of 35,208 students had appeared from Jharkhand, of which 29,487 passed. Akshat Agarwal a student at the DAV Public School Canary Hill, Hazaribag was the Jharkhand State Topper. He obtained 490 marks out of 500 and secured 98% marks in aggregate in the science stream.
Whereas, in the commerce stream, Tanish Bansal from Holy Cross School, Balidih emerged as the state topper with a total of 97.8% marks in aggregate. And in the arts stream, Ranchi girl Shrishti Surabhi, from JVM Shyamli emerged as the state topper with a total of 96.8% marks in aggregate. Manohar Lal, Ranchi's CBSE co-ordinator said that around 10,000 students appeared for the CBSE Class 12th Board examinations from 40 schools around Ranchi.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
