Srinagar: The JKBOSE Class 10 Result 2016 for March session for special exam / Kashmir division has been announced by the JK Board today. The JKBOSE announced the JK Class 10 Annual 2016 (March session) results today. The JKBOSE Result was announced at the official unveiling ceremony held at the board office in Srinagar. After the declaration ceremony, the JKOBSE 10th Result would be made available online on the official website of the board i.e. jkbose.org from where student can check the outcome of their hard work.

The JKBOSE Result was announced by the Joint Secretary Secrecy JKBOSE, M A Jaloo in a press meet organized at the JKBOSE office. Praising the efforts put in by the students, Mr Jaloo said that despite all the difficulties faced by the students in the last year, they have still managed to put up a good show in recently announced JKBOSE Class 10 Special Exam Results for Kashmir Division. For the special exam of Kashmir division, a total of 407 students had appeared out of which only 133 students managed to clear the test. This puts the cumulative pass percentage at 49.88%, as per media reports.

Statistics of previous JKOBSE 10th Result

Earlier in the year, JKBOSE had also announced the result for JKBOSE 10th Result 2016 for Kashmir division on Thursday i.e 12th January. In that examination, the 58,293 had received the outcome of their hard work. As far as pass percentage was concerned, 83.40% of students had managed to clear the examination in the winter zone result.


The JKBOSE is the apex body which is entrusted the responsibility of monitoring and promotion of school-level education in the state. With its headquarters based in Srinagar as well as Jammu, the Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education acts as an autonomous body under the state government. The Board also conducts the bi-annual JKBOSE Exam for both class 10 and class 12 students. As of now, there are nearly 10200 schools affiliated to JKBOSE and it employs over 22856 teachers across the state.
