Kerala SSLC Result 2016 online: Ending the wait of lakhs of students, the SSLC exam results will be announced by Kerala chief secretary P.K. Mohanty at 11.00 am today. The chief secretary will hand over the result to V.S. Senthil, additional chief secretary, General Education Department, at a press meet here. Usually, the education minister annouces the result. Earlier in the month, rumours regarding a possible delay in the result declaration had been a cause of serious concern among the students awaiting the announcement of Kerala SSLC Results 2016. Kerala's SSLC (class 10) examinations were conducted by the Office of the Commissioner for Government Examinations, Pareekshabhavan from 9 - 23 March, 2016 for 4,76,373 students across 2,903 centres in Kerala.

The evaluation of the SSLC answer sheets of the 2016 Kerala SSLC exams were done from 1 - 12 April, 2016 across 54 valuation camps and the Kerala SSLC exam results 2016 were expected to be released on Wednesday, 27 April, 2016.


As many as 4.42 lakh students have been declared eligible for higher studies in the Kerala SSLC examinations 2014, The success rate in 2014 touched 95.47 per cent, an increase of 1.3 percentage points over the 2013’s figure. But, those declared eligible for higher studies dipped from l2013’s 4.51 lakh.


In 2014, 14,802 students secured A+ in all subjects, 4,729 more than the corresponding figure for 2013. In 2013, 10,073 students secured A+ in all subjects.



In 2015, Among revenue districts, Kannur has got the highest pass percentage at 97.99%, while Palakkad recorded the least at 93.42%. The valuation camp began on 31 March 2015 and ended on 16 April 2015. In 2015, the state completed all valuation related tasks, including tabulation at a record pace. In 2014, a total of 4.64 lakh students appeared for the exams, of which 4.42 lakh passed, representing a win percentage of 95.47.

The Office of the Commissioner for Government Examinations - Pareeksha Bhavan is located in Thiruvananthapuram and conducts Kerala's Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC)/ class 10) examination every year.
