Karnataka state government has announced that the Class 10 examinations will not be canceled or postponed and will be conducted as per schedule clearing the speculations regarding the examinations will be conducted as per schedule from June 21, 2021, onwards and no changes will be made in the schedule of the exams.
Regarding the evaluation and promotion of the students from class 1 to 9, the minister stated that the students will be evaluated based on the comprehensive evaluation criteria. He further added that the students will not be called to schools for offline classes.
The minister squashed reports suggesting the cancellation of class 10 exams since speculations were making the rounds over the possibility of canceling the SSLC exams after the CBSE decided to cancel the class 10 Karnataka board exams. The education minister has pointed out that the state will be going ahead with the exam schedule.
While speaking to reporters, the education minister confirmed that the exams will be held as per schedule. On April 14, 2021, the minister had commented that the state will be making a decision regarding the Karnataka SSLC exams and even then the minister has pointed out that there was no immediate plan to cancel the board examinations.
The students appearing for the Karnataka examinations are advised to keep studying and the exams will be conducted in June and July as mentioned earlier. No changes will be made in the Karnataka PUC exams 2021 either yet.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
