A decision on the SSC and HSC re-examinations is yet to be taken by the Maharashtra Board making the delay stressful for the students and teachers awaiting the examination dates. The board has released the release of Class 10 and 12 examinations result in July 2020.
Teachers in the state have mentioned that the students who have failed the examinations will either not get enough time to prepare for the examinations when announced or they will lose a chance to join the next academic class without losing out on a year. The teachers have also added that the board should find a way to conduct the re-examinations. Teachers Democratic Fund member Rajesh Pandya stated that since the time table for the exams is not out yet the students are anxious and whenever the state decides to conduct the exams it has to provide enough time to prepare for the examinations. In case the re-examinations are delayed, the students will lose out on a second chance as the college admissions are already underway in the state.
