MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC Exam 2021: The Meghalaya Board of School Education is not conducting selection tests for Class 10, 12 students who are to appear in Meghalaya SSLC and HSSLC Board exams 2021. On Wednesday, Meghalaya Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui informed that MBOSE has decided not to go ahead with the Class 10 and 12 selection tests this year. The MBOSE Class 10 and 12 selection tests are meant for the screening of students to appear for the upcoming Board exams scheduled in March April next year.
The Meghalaya Board said that it has decided not to conduct the Class 10 and 12 selection tests for students scheduled to write the Board examinations next year keeping in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The exemption from Class 10 and 12 selection test has been done as a one-time exception in order to ensure the safety and health of all the stakeholders in view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic, said the Education Minister.
As per the Education Minister’s statement, a one-time exemption is also being given to all candidates who are willing to appear in SSLC and HSSLC examination 2021 but had failed in selection tests conducted in the year 2019. Such students will also be allowed to appear in the upcoming final Class 10 and 12 Board examination to be held in March-April, 2021. He further said that schools in the state have also been directed not to conduct any selection test at their levels for the students.
As per the official statement by the Education Minister. The MBOSE Secondary School Leaving Certificate and the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate examinations will be conducted in March-April, next year. He also added that the MBOSE Class 10 and 12 Board exam dates will be finalised by the Board soon and will be announced on the official website. He further said that a notification with regards to MBOSE SSLC and HSSLC exam 2021 dates and skipping of the selection tests for both the classes has also been issued.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
