MBOSE Class 12 Exams: Meghalaya State Government has decided to allow the students to appear for the remaining papers of the higher Secondary Board Examination from their respective home district headquarters. An official notification regarding the same has been released on the official website of the Meghalaya Board.
As per reports, the remaining Higher Secondary Board examinations are scheduled to be conducted from June 8, 2020. As per the notification provided, a candidate studying outside his/her home district Head Quarter will be allowed to appear for the examinations in his/her own home district Head Quarter. As per reports, close to 3,700 students will be appearing for the Mathematics, Physical Education, Statistics, and Western Music papers from the 59 centres across the state.
It must however be noted that the examination facility will not be available in the sub-division or block level in the state.
To avail, the facility of appearing for the exams at the district headquarters the candidates are required to download the application format from the Meghalaya Board of School of Education website. The filled applications are to be submitted via email by May 31, 2020.
Like many of the state boards across the country, the Meghalaya Board also postponed that class 12 board examination due to the COVID-19 lockdown across the country. The remaining examinations are now scheduled to be conducted on June 8, 9, and 10, 2020.
