Meghalaya HSSLC Exam 2020 Update: MBOSE 12th Class Exam likely to resume from 20th May, Results expected by Early June

Meghalaya HSSLC Exam 2020 Update: As per the latest media reports, Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) is likely to conduct the MBOSE 12th Class Exam 2020 for HSSLC students starting from 20th May. The Board is expected to release MBOSE HSSLC Result 2020 by 10th June 2020, as per a statement issued State Education Minister Lakhmen Rymbui. According to local media reports, the state government plans to hold the HSSLC Exam 2020 for 12th Class students by 31st May 2020 after the lockdown ends.

4 Exams Pending

Currently, 4 Exams are pending to be completed as part of the Meghalaya 12th Board Exam 2020. The exam was postponed abruptly due to the national lockdown announced due to Coronavirus pandemic. As per the datesheet, exam for Mathematics for which 3000 students are to appear for the exam, along with papers for Statistics, physical education and western music are pending. Now, these 4 exams are now likely to be held from 20th May onwards after the lockdown is lifted.

Evaluation Work to Begin Soon

In addition to this, to ensure that Meghalaya HSSLC Result 2020 are declared on time, the state government has also reached out to MBOSE to make the necessary arrangements. Following the announcement by state education minister, State Principal Secretary has sent a formal letter to MBOSE Chairman MHK Marak, informing him that state government will be arranging curfew passes for all the teachers and evaluators involved in the paper checking process. The curfew passes will be arranged from Shillong to Tura, where the board headquarters is located.
