MP Board Exam 2020: MPBSE to allow change in exam centres to accommodate students stranded in different districts

MP Board Exam 2020: Going by the latest update available right now, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) will allow students to change the exam centre assigned to them for the upcoming board exams. The exam centre change is being allowed for students who are currently stuck in a different district than the centre allotted to them earlier. According to a news report published by NDTV website, the online application process for change of examination centre has commenced today i.e. 25th May and will continue until 28th May 2020. During this period, all students who are currently stuck in a different places than their place of residence due to lockdown or other reasons, an apply for change in exam centre to their nearest location.

Only Inter-District Change of Exam Centre Allowed

Like many other state boards, which have allowed change in the exam centres, MP Board has also notified that students would be allowed to change their exam centres only on inter-district basis. This simply means that students cannot seek change in exam centres within their own district. On the other hand, students who have either been transferred back home from their residential schools or have moved to their hometowns along with their parents following the announcement of lockdown, will be able to avail the facility of inter-district exam centre change.

Apply via Kiosk, Mobile App, Board’s Website

With the nationwide lockdown in place, the Madhya Pradesh Board has launched online application process through which candidates can apply for change in examination centres. Students who wish to appear for MP Board 12th Class Exam in district other than the ones that are provided to them previously, may register for the same via MP Online Kiosk, MP Board portal, and Board's mobile app. Alternatively, students can also register for the change in exam centres for MPBSE Exam by visiting DEO office, coordinating offices, and divisional board offices as well.

Pending Board Exams Only for 12th Class students

As notified by the state government earlier, the pending MP Board Exam 2020 will now be held only for 12th Class students. Class 10 Students for whom certain papers for Board exams were pending have been cancelled by the state government. The MPBSE 12th Exam 2020 is scheduled to be held from 9th June to 15th June 2020. On similar lines, for private category students, practical exams will be held from 8th June to 16th June 2020. All the exams will be held under supervision and scrutiny with strict implementation of COVID-19 precautions and guidelines.
