Nitish Kumar inaugurates newly built building of Dr Kalam Agriculture College

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar recently inaugurated the newly built administrative building of Dr Kalam Agriculture College in Kishanganj district, an official release said. The Chief Minister also inaugurated a Krishi Vikas Mela inside the college campus and visited several stalls. He also visited the digital classroom, agriculture entomology, insects museum and computer lab of the college located at Arrabari in Pothia block of the district, it said. Stressing on the need utilising solar energy, the CM asked officials to install solar plates on the roof top of all the buildings of the college which would help generate power in meeting its energy requirement. Agriculture minister Prem Kumar, MP Santosh Kushwaha, chief secretary Deepak Kumar and other senior officials were present on the occasion.

The college was named after former president Dr APJ Abdul Kalam by the Chief Minister as a tribute a day after Kalam's death. It was inaugurated on August 10, 2015, by Nitish Kumar. The CM also advised the college administration to dig up many big ponds on the campus to do fish cultivation. He also said that Kishanganj can be developed as a new place of attraction for tourists - both domestic and foreign.

Meanwhile, the Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU Patna) has released the result of BBA, BCA, B.Com & BBE (Sem 5) Exam 2018 at the official website that is All the students are advised to download their mark sheets from the official website. The score cards for BBA, BCA, B.Com & BBE (Sem 5) Exam 2018 are available online. The Aryabhatta Knowledge University has released the 5th-semester result of the all the subjects mentioned above.
