Jharkhand state government has directed the schools in the state not to conduct offline examinations for the students except for the Class 10 and 12 board examinations. The board examinations will be conducted in the offline mode for the students from classes 10 and 12 across the examination centres. The JAC Board exams are scheduled to commence from May 4 and will conclude on May 21, 2021.
Jharkhand state government has also issued a notice stating that the schools are to continue conducting online classes for the students even after the offline class resume for the students from March 1, 2021. Students appearing for the Jharkhand board examinations and the other examinations will be exempted from the restrictions enforced on the containment zones in the state. The examination admit cards will be considered as the entry pass outside the containment zones for the students.
The state government is also planning to promote the students from classes 1 to 7 without conducting examinations for the students. The department will be issuing a notification regarding the same across the schools in the state soon. According to reports, the Jharkhand Education Project Council also known as JEPC will be drafting strategies to promote the students without examinations. The plan to promote the students will be prepared as per the states like Bihar and Chhattisgarh.
The schools in Jharkhand will be reopening from March 1 for the students from class 8 and above and the students will be allowed to enter the school premises only with the consent of the parents. ITI training will also be resumed in the state.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
