PM Modi, HRD Minister Javadekar congratulate students for their efforts in CBSE Class 12 exam 2019

CBSE Class 12 resultCBSE had announced the Class 12 results 2019 on 2nd May. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi took to twitter to applaud the students for clearing the exam and wished them well for their future endeavours. He also praised the efforts of the students and parents alike. Prakash Javadekar, Union HRD Minister personally spoke to the toppers of CBSE 12th result 2019 and congratulated them on their brilliant performance. He also requested students who did not manage to pass in the exam to feel disheartened and work harder on their next attempt.

The Union Minister also spoke about the performance of various schools in the CBSE Class 12 result 2019 saying that he is proud that Kendriya Vidyalayas have managed to achieve a pass percentage of 98.54% and Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas also pulled off a pass percentage of 96.62%, indicative of the quality of education imparted in the Government run CBSE Schools across the country.

Pulkit Kejriwal, son of Arvind Kejriwal scored 96.4 % marks in the CBSE Class 12 exam. Smriti Irani is also gloating with pride as her son managed to score 91% in the CBSE Class 12 along with obtaining a bronze medal in World Kempo Championship. 

The CBSE Class 12 2019 results have been announced within 28 days of the last date of the examination. Hansika Shukla and Karishma Arora, from Ghaziabad and Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh topped the CBSE Class 12th 2019 examinations with 499/500 marks each. Gaurangi Chawla from Rishikesh, Aishwarya from Rai Bareilly and Bhavya from Haryana stood second with 498/500 marks each. There are 18 students at the third position, of them 11 are girls, all with 497 marks.Girls outperformed boys with a pass percentage of 88.70% as compared to boys which stood at 79.4%.

Kendriya Vidyalayas are the best performing schools with the passing percentage 98.54%. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas performed second best with 96.62% pass percentage. The government aided schools recorded a pass percentage of 88.49 while that of Government schools stands at 87.17%. The pass percentage of private schools is 82.59%.

Trivandrum is the top-performing region of the country with 98.2% students passing in the CBSE Class 12 exam 2019. Chennai is in the second position with 92.93% students passing in the exam followed Delhi with a pass percentage of 91.87% in the results.
