Punjab Board Exam 2020 Postponed: Punjab School Examination Board (PSEB) has postponed the Punjab 10th and 12th Board Exam 2020 as well as 5th and 8th Class, which were rescheduled to be held from 1st April 2020 aud to Coronavirus outbreak. This is the second time that Punjab Board Exams 2020 have been postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Earlier, the exams which were originally scheduled to be held between 20th and 31st March 2020, were rescheduled to be held from 1st April 2020. According to the PSEB Exam Datesheet announced earlier, the Punjab 5th Class Exam 2020 were to be held between 1st and 3rd April 2020 while 10th Class Exam was to be held from 3rd to 23rd April and 12th Class Exams were to be held from 3rd to 18th April 2020. However, now with the 21-day lockdown in place, the Punjab Board Exam 2020 for 5th, 8th, 10th and 12th Class students have been rescheduled and will take place at a later date. Once situation normalizes, the revised exam schedule for Punjab Board Exam to be released later on official website at pseb.ac.in.
Education domain and the activities that go along with it including board exams, entrance exam and recruitment tests have been impacted due to the public health emergency around Coronvirus outbreak in the country and the 21-day lockdown announced by the government to curb its spread. In fact, CBSE, NIOS, ICSE and most of the State Boards have had to postpone their on-going examination due to the COVID-19 situation. NTA – the national testing agency has also postponed JEE Main 2020, NEET UG 2020 and other entrance exams being held by it. Looking at the current circumstances, revised examination dates for all board exams are likely to be announced only after the end of 21-day lockdown on 14th April 2020.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
