The crime against women has been on the higher side in our society. With the passage of time, we are getting modern but it is seen that we lack the human values and the result are worse. The increase in crime against has been the routine affair and there seems to be no end to it. Despite all the possible steps to eradicate the crime against women, there is still scope to improve it further. The society can be made more aware about the situation and the best way is to make the students of the country aware of it. If we can make them aware then there are chances that the problems can be sorted out soon.

In a recent move by the government of Rajasthan, the school kids are to be taught about it in their chapters. Soon, the state government is going to introduce chapters on crime against women in the schools syllabus of class 10 and 12. The step is aimed at raising awareness among the young minds of the society so that things can be improved further. The step is a welcome one as the schools kids are more receptive of the things in their age. The chapters will be introduced from the next academic session i.e. 2020-21 in the state. Once introduced, this will pave the path for a better society.

The CM of the state Ashok Gehlot said, “The condition of women is in grave danger in our country and in six months, there have been cases of 24,000 rape incidents. Taking cognizance of this, the government will introduce chapters in classes 10 and 12 to raise awareness among school children regarding the incidents of crime against women.” The move by the state government is such that it should be implemented all over the country.
