Rajasthan 10th Exam 2020 Today: On Sunday, Supreme of Court of India today rejected a plea filed by parents of students seeking cancellation of RBSE Rajasthan Board 10th Exam 2020 which are slated to start from Today. The plea citied the recent decision of Supreme Court with regards to cancellation of CBSE Board Exams 2020 and the rising number of cases as grounds for cancellation. Rajasthan Board under the guidance of state government, will hold the last two pending examination for Class 10 students on 29th and 30th June 2020.
Supreme Court in its order today said that the petition filed by the parents’ challenged Rajasthan High Court order passed on May 29 that allowed conduct of RBSE 10th Exam 2020. The aped court noted that since then there have been no COVID-19 positive cases located in the examination centres. The three judge bench led by Justice AM Khanwilkar hearing the plea said that it had dismissed similar petitions during earlier hearings. The court also cited other similar judgements in which such petitions seeking cancellation of pending board exams, including Karnataka SSLC Exams that were set aside upon satisfactory response from state government about preparedness to handle transportation and inflow of students during board exams.
Following the announcement of SC judgement allowing holding of the pending two exams from Monday, RBSE chairman Secretary Arvind Kumar said that the board has made adequate arrangements for holding the exams with social-distancing guidelines prescribed by the State Government and High Court. He also said that RBSE understands importance of Board Exam Results for students and therefore will expedite the evaluation work to declare results soon after the completion of exams on 30th June 2020. RBSE Director D. P. Jaroli had also given a similar statement earlier without providing any specific date for the RBSE 10th Result 2020.REGISTER FOR RESULTS UPDATES
