UP Board Exam 2019: Superintendent, Invigilators booked for aiding mass cheating

UP Board Exam 2019: In a surprising and shocking news, STF booked Superintendent and invigilators for helping in mass cheating in UP Board exam 2019. The case refers to the UP board exam 2019 where the superintendent and 14 other invigilators of the exam centre have been booked under Gangster Act. They have been booked for allegedly helping mass cheating at one of the exam centres during the UP board exam 2019.

The cases of mass cheating has been on the rise these days. It is often heard that many students have been caught cheating during the exams. However, this incident is very shocking as the persons in news are the exam invigilators and the superintendent themselves. These people have been entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the exam in a fair way. If these people are not taking the responsibility with its divinity, then it is really a matter of grave concern.

The persons arrested in this case are the superintendent of the exam centre Yogender Pal along with other invigilators. The arrest has been made by the STF when mass cheating was caught during the physics paper of class 12th. Regarding the case, the DM of Muzzafarpur, Mr. Ajay Shanker Pandey said that on the recommendation of the police, 17 people have been booked under the Gangster Act. The people who have been booked include the superintendent of the exam centre, 14 invigilators and two others. These people were arrested on Saturday at a village in the district. The mass cheating was caught on 22 February 2019 when the STF raided the exam centre. During the raid, the officials found solved exam papers, pistol, mobile, exam guides and a car.
