AP Inter Result – Last Year's Statistics

Last year, the AP Board Result season was kicked off with the announcement of AP Inter Result for 1st-year students on 13th April. In 2017, 10,31,285 students had appeared for the Andhra Pradesh AP Intermediate 1st year, 2nd-year exams. The total number of candidates for AP inter 1st-year exams were 5,23,099. There were 1,445 examination centres in the state. The results of which were announced on April 13. Again, the girls had outperformed the boys with the pass percentage of 80 per cent while the boys had scored 75 per cent in the first year. The overall pass percentage of Andhra Pradesh AP Intermediate exams 2017 was 68.02%. The overall pass percentage of the first year students was 64.03%. The BIEAP conducts intermediate examination every year in the month of March. In 2017, the BIEAP Inter 1st year examinations were conducted from March 1, 2017 to March 17, 2017. About Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP)

The Directorate of Government Examinations is popularly known as the Andhra Pradesh SSC Board in the state. The Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh (BSEAP) is an independent agency working under the aegis of Ministry of Secondary Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The SSC Board is responsible for promotion, management and development of secondary level school education in the state. Similarly, the Intermediate Board Exams for Class 12 students are conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh (BIEAP). The Intermediate Education Board was set up in 1971 with the goal to regulate and supervise the intermediate level education in the state of Andhra Pradesh. As part of its various responsibilities, the BIEAP prescribes the syllabus and course curriculum for 1st Inter and 2nd Inter students. They also conduct the annual board exams for these classes in the month of February-March, every year.
