NEET Result Important Dates 2019

NEET 2019 aspirants must be aware of the important dates pertaining to the NEET 2019 exam. The exact date of NEET Result 2019 has not been revealed by NTA. However, the National Testing Agency (NTA) stated that the NEET 2019 result will be declared by June 9, 2019. This means the result could be announced before or on June 5, 2019.

How to check NEET 2019 Result?

NEET Result 2019 will be announced on the official website. The expected day of AIPMT result declaration is by June 5, 2019. Candidates can check their NEET 2019 result by following the steps shared below;

  • Click enter

NEET Counselling 2019

The counselling for NEET 2019 exam will be conducted by Director General of Health Services (DGHS), on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee. The official dates of NEET 2019 counselling have not yet been announced. Generally the counselling of NEET is done after the NEET result is declared. The NEET 2019 counselling for state quota seats will be conducted by the respective state counselling authorities. It is to be noted the seat allotment process through NEET 2019 counselling will be based on the candidates NEET rank and score.

NEET 2019 aspirants must also take note what documents will be required for the counselling process. Listed below are the documents;

NEET Result 2019 Tie Breaker

In case of two or more candidates obtain the same marks in the NEET 2019 exam, the inter-se merit/ NEET tie breaker shall be determined as follows;

  • Candidate with higher marks in Biology (Botany & Zoology) in the exam will be given higher preference
  • If the above tie breaker does not break the tie, candidate obtaining higher marks in Chemistry will be preferred
  • In case the tie persists, candidate will lesser number of incorrect answer in the exam will be given preference
  • If the tie still persists then the final preference will be given to candidate older in age

NEET 2019 Result- What next?

After the NEET result 2019 is declared, a candidate must follow the following procedures whichever applies to them;

  • Candidates who qualify NEET 2019 can register the state counselling process conducted for admission to government and private medical and dental colleges provided they fulfil the eligibility criteria of the respective states.
  • Candidates qualifying the NEET exam and not belonging to J&K state (unless filled the declaration form at the time of filling application form), s/he will need to register themselves online for the NEET 2019 counselling process with Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Candidates who qualify the exam will be able to check the link to register for the centralised counselling process on NEET Counselling official webpage. The NEET 2019 counselling process is expected to start in the second week of June, 2019.
  • In case a candidate belonging to J&K State has qualified the exam and has not opted to participate in All India Quota NEET counselling, they will need to register for the state counselling process which will be conducted by the state counselling authorities.
