The GBSHSE conducts the board examinations for SSC and HSSC students every year in the month of March and April followed by the announcement of Goa Board Result 2018 in the month of April and May. The Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education is expected to announce the GBSHSE Class 12 Results 2018 in the last week of April 2018. Goa Board Result Previous Year Statistics

In Goa Board SSC examination, more than 19 thousand students appeared and students scored cumulative pass percentage of 91.57% in Goa Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, SSC Result 2017. A total of 19,358 students registered for their Goa SSC exams 2017 out of which 9,828 were girls and 9,530 were boys. The passing percentage of boys in Goa SSC examination was 91.18% and girls outdid the boys marginally once again, with a passing percentage of 91.94%.  As per the official sources, numerous schools scored a 100 per cent passing percentage.

In Goa HSSC, total 16,521 students appeared for the exam in 2017 and 14,666 passed the examination taking the cumulative pass percentage in Goa Board 12th Result 2017 to 88.77% around two per cent lower than the previous year result. Girls outperformed the boys in Goa Board 12th Result 2016 to by almost four per cent.

As per the general trend, the HSSC Results for class 12 was announced for all the three streams i.e. arts, commerce, and science. In Science stream, a total number of 5,076 students appeared for the examination out of which 4,473 passed whereas in Arts stream 3,675 students sat for the examination out 3,216 passed and in Commerce 4,545 passed out of 5,011. The Goa Board of Secondary & Higher Secondary Education (GBSHSE) was established in the year 1975 through the Goa, Daman and Diu Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board Act, 1975.
