MAT Result 2019 - All India Management Association (AIMA) will declare the MAT 2019 Result. MAT 2019 is a standardised test to screen students for admission to MBA across 600 B-schools in India. The applications for Management Aptitude Test 2019 were made available from December 16, onwards. The last date for the online application of MAT 2019 Paper-based test (PBT) was February 12, 2019, whereas the last date to apply for MAT 2018 Computer-based test (CBT) was February 18, 2019. The MAT 2019 PBT exam was held on February 17, 2019. Those waiting to take the MAT CBT 2019 February session will be able to appear for the CBT exam on February 23, 2019. AIMA for now has no update on the MAT result 2019 date. However, taking a hint from previous year timeline, candidates can expect their MAT 2019 result in the fourth week of February, 2019.

How to check MAT 2019 Result?

AIMA will declare the MAT Result 2019 on its official website only. The result will be available in online mode only. According to the official website, the MMAT 2019 Result will be available in the last week of the month of the exam. MAT Cut off 2019

The cut off of MAT 2019 exam is the minimum marks that a candidate must obtain in order to qualify MAT 2019. Only upon meeting the MAT 2019 cut off, a candidate will be considered for the next selection rounds. MAT 2019 participating institutes are responsible for declaring their individual MAT cut off 2019. Hence, each participating institutes will shortlist the candidates based on their set cut off. The MAT cut off 2019 may range anywhere between 250 and 700 depending on each B-school.

MAT 2019 Selection Procedure

Upon meeting the MAT 2019 Cut off of a particular institute, the institute will conduct its selection round. This means each participating institute will have its own selection process. Generally the MAT Selection procedure 2019 comprises of Group discussion, Personal Interview and Written ability test (WAT). On the basis of the MAT 2019 score candidates will be shortlisted and further called for the selection rounds. The final admission will be on the basis of performance in these selection rounds.

What after MAT Result 2019?

After the declaration of MAT 2019 result, the participating institutes of MAT will release a list of shortlisted candidates on the basis of the cutoffs. The cutoff of each B-school is different. Each of the MAT 2019 participating institutes follows their respective selection procedure. However, most of the institutes have a Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI) and Written Ability Test (WAT). The final admission result will be based on the selection criteria followed by the respective institute.

AIMA will send the scores of the students to 5 to 7 colleges. These are the colleges that the students had chosen to apply at the time of filling the MAT Application Form.

In case, the students feel that they have not obtained the satisfactory marks or if they feel that they did not perform well enough in the examination then they can try in next examination. The MAT examination is conducted 4 times in a year. So the students get numerous chances to appear in the exam and improve their scores.

Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test conducted by AIMA to allow B-schools to filter candidates for MBA admission and allied programmes. In 2003, the Government of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level management entrance test. Over 600 B-schools across India offer admission on the basis of MAT scores.
