However, due to the lack of any official confirmation from the Telangana Board, the stress and anxiety among the students waiting for Telangana Board Result was high. The students were worried about their future academic actions, as admissions for higher studies in colleges are granted based on the merit in the Telangana Board 10th Result 2018 and Telangana Board 12th Result 2018.

Earlier, the Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) had revised the timetable for Telangana Intermediate 1st year and 2nd year March Exam 2018. The 1st year IPE exam 2018 started from February 28 instead of March 1.

"Keeping in view of the common syllabus in optional subjects in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and as there is a possibility for sending Question Paper of APBIE through WhatsApp that may create false rumours of leakage of question paper every day and panic/confusion in the students of Telangana state. In view of the above, to avoid imminent risk factors, the TSBIE has taken a decision to re-schedule the time-table for IPE March 2018," the board said in a press release.

The Telangana SSC Results 2018 and Telangana Inter Results 2018 are expected as per schedule. Experts had also suggested that the TS Inter Results will be declared first in the third or last week of April followed by TS SSC Results that are expected to come out in the first or second week of May.
