The Xavier's Aptitude Test or XAT, which is the second most popular MBA entrance exam in India after CAT, has released the official notification for the examination on their official website. This year also, the XAT (Xavier Aptitude Test) will be managed by the Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur on behalf of the XAMI. The XAT 2019 examination is being conducted by the XLRI at all level to offer admission into the management fields. There are almost 150 reputed institutes who accept XAT score for admission. The candidates must note that they can also register for XLRI course on the basis of GMAT score.
The XAT 2019 is one of the most important examinations for the candidates who are planning to pursue their career in management field. The XAT scores will be accepted by over 150 B-schools across India. The participating institutes can be classified into two types, Xavier Associate Management Institutes (XAMI) and non-XAMI. Last year, the number of XAMI was 11 and the non-XAMI was 145.
Once announced, the XAT 2019 scorecards will be available on the official website i.e. xatonline.in. The candidates can check the scores by entering the login credentials but the soft copy of the scorecard will be sent by post to the candidates on their registered postal address. In the scorecard, the total percentage and percentile achieved by the candidates in all the sections is going to be displayed.
After the formal declaration of the XAT 2019 results, the XLRI will release the cut off lists. The 2019 cutoff list is the minimum marks required for the candidate to get shortlisted for GD/PI. The XAT cutoff will be announced individually for HRM, BM and GMP courses. On the basis of this cutoff and XAT 2019 score, the institute will give a call to the shortlisted candidates for further rounds of admission.
